From Middle Radestrian hêrs, from Old Radestrian hêrs, inherited from Proto-Radic *hêrs, from Proto-Hirdic *hɛ̄́ḏəs, from Proto-Laenkean *hæjdæs. Cognate with Lusetian aer, Riyan hair and Laefevian ea (“moon”).
