Radestrian
Etymology
From Middle Radestrian re, from Old Radestrian re, inherited from Proto-Radic *re (genitive *rātg, *rātıg), from Proto-Hirdic *se (genitive *sātɯ́ḡ), from Proto-Laenkean *seʔ- (oblique *sn̥ʔ-́), with analogous shortening in the modern weak forms.
Pronunciation
Pronoun
re (genitive singular rask, rátú, possessive lirș, liriș)
Usage notes
- A short instrumental form rabúr exists, but, although colloquially quite common, is considered non-standard, as is the derived form rabuorvas (“with you”) /raˈbuorvas/, cf. standard rábuorvas /ˈraːbuorvas/.
