from Middle Radestrian dúlt, from Old Radestrian dūltt, inherited from Proto-Radic *dūlht, from Proto-Hirdic *ḏūl-, from Proto-Laenkean *dɯwl-. The /r/ is likely by association with ruovs (“morning”).
