From Middle Radestrian dvúþs, from Old Radestrian dlūþs, inherited from Proto-Radic *dūlθs, from Proto-Hirdic *ḏū́lthɯs, from Proto-Laenkean *dɯwltʰɯs. Cognate with Laefevian nol and Riyan dúl.
