From Middle Radestrian Jruhra, from Old Radestrian Jrŭhra, inherited from Proto-Radic *Jrıhhor, from Proto-Hirdic *Jrəhkhós, from Proto-Laenkean *ɟr̥hkʰós. Cognate with Riyan Rjyga (Riyan goddess of love).
