The word can be defined in the first parameter; if it is omitted, it will use the current page title.
Extra settings can be called in any order:
|cite: citation form (lists formatted phonemic with phonetic if different);|col(loquial)and|nolargecan still be called|color|colloquial: uses colloquial phonology, automatically activates|phon|format: formats the output using the appropriate IPA format|nolarge: the format is produced using the normal-sized IPA class
|phon: narrow transcription|nopref,|nosuff: disables automatic secondary stress recognition

Secondary stress assignment is also done automatically with the affixes listed in Module:lfv-IPA/affixes. This functionality can be overridden with |nopref and |nosuff.
