From Middle Radestrian vlunzra, from Old Radestrian vrŭnðra, inherited from Proto-Radic *βrınðor, from Proto-Hirdic *bhrəndhós, from Proto-Laenkean *bʱr̥ndʱós. Cognate with Ardian urýndo, Lusetian vrinnu, Riyan vrynd and Laefevian vônd.
