From Middle Radestrian liht, from Old Radestrian lihtt, inherited from Proto-Radic *lihht (“to jump”), from Proto-Hirdic *lip̄-, from Proto-Laenkean *lip-. Cognate with Laefevian lipad (“to twitch”).
