From Middle Radestrian vúcus, from Old Radestrian luwcals, inherited from Proto-Radic *lugcıls, from Proto-Hirdic *lúḡkjələs, from Proto-Laenkean *logkjælæs. Ousted the competing Middle Radestrian atevarubeșavatre in normative language. Cognate with Laefevian lyšilta.
