Etymology

From Middle Radestrian aleșre, from Old Radestrian alešre, inherited from Proto-Radic *alèšir, from Proto-Hirdic *alɛ́ḵjis, from Proto-Laenkean *m̥lǽkjes. The vowel elision in Modern Radestrian is a sporadic development, perhaps influenced by alua.
