Etymology
From Middle Radestrian nratuss, from Old Radestrian nratūr, inherited from Proto-Radic *nortuwur, from Proto-Laenkean *nastuwus. Reanalysed as a spirant stem in Middle Radestrian, cf. rotus. Cognate with Laefevian nôstyrs (“gangrene”).
