From Middle Radestrian -úzz, from Old Radestrian -ūðs, inherited from Proto-Radic *-ūðs (action noun), from Proto-Hirdic *-ūdhɯs, from Proto-Laenkean *-ɯwdʱɯs. Cognate with Laefevian -oð.
