Radestrian

Etymology

From Middle Radestrian nurus, from Old Radestrian nurwur, inherited from Proto-Radic *nurwur, from Proto-Hirdic *núrwus, from Proto-Laenkean *norwos. The lack of metathesis in Old Radestrian suggests it was loaned from or influenced by another Hirdic language, such as Old Riyan nurwus.

  • IPA(key)/ˈnɔrɤs/

  • Syllabification: no–rus

Noun
