From Middle Radestrian rișus, from Old Radestrian rišls, inherited from Proto-Radic *rišıls, backformed from *rišlænhs, from Proto-Hirdic *riḵjlǽnṯəs, from Proto-Laenkean *rikjlæntæs. Cognate with Laefevian aršun.
