Cardinal: lirește (lireșķeșier·) Cardinal adjective: nareșeliș |
Etymology
From Middle Radestrian lireșavatre, from lire- (“tri-”) + șavatre (“twenty”), equivalent to lire· + sjavate. Displaced the decimal nestus, from Proto-Radic *nèdcıls.
Pronunciation
Numeral
lirește pl (genitive plural lireștis)
- sixty (60)
Usage notes
- Followed by the short genitive plural.
- This is one of the handful of Radestrian numerals that are grammatically plural: sjavate (“twenty”), varște (“thirty”), atește (“forty”), lirește (“sixty”), aește (“eighty”) and aevaște (“ninety”). All other numerals are grammatically singular.
