Etymology

From Old Radestrian vraws, inherited from Proto-Radic *βırɣs, from Proto-Hirdic *bhɯ́rghɯs, from Proto-Laenkean *bʱɯrgʱɯs (“ant”). Cognate with Ardian vyrs, Lusetian virc and Laefevian varǧies.
