From Middle Radestrian -jus, -jús, from Old Radestrian -jls, -jŭls, inherited from Proto-Radic *-jls, *-jıls, from Proto-Hirdic *-ijɯlɯs, *-jɯlɯs, from Proto-Laenkean *-(i)ɟɯlɯs, from *-(i)ɟɯs + *-(V)lVs.

Usage notes
- This suffix does not cause palatalisation, but causes breaking after a consonant and also stem vowel raising.
