From Middle Radestrian nýrims, from Old Radestrian nȳrimre, inherited from Proto-Radic *nȳrimir, from Proto-Hirdic *nȳ́ḏimis, from Proto-Laenkean *niwdimis. Cognate with Riyan nyre and Laefevian noim.
