Radestrian

Etymology

From Middle Radestrian rýfs, from Old Radestrian rȳfre (“herb”), wīrfre (“mint”), inherited from Proto-Radic *wīrɸir (“mint, herb”), from Proto-Hirdic *wíḡirphis, from Proto-Laenkean *wigirpʰis. Cognate with Laefevian vêwirþ (“mint”) and doublet of vjerfs. Strictly speaking, Old Radestrian rȳfre is the true inherited form.
