From Middle Radestrian vart, from Old Radestrian lardt, inherited from Proto-Radic *lırdht, from Proto-Hirdic *lɯrḏ-. from Proto-Laenkean *lɯrd-. Cognate with Ardian lyrt and Lusetian lirt.
