From Middle Radestrian prass, from Old Radestrian præɣre, inherited from Proto-Radic *perhir, from Proto-Hirdic *pérhis, from Proto-Laenkean *pʼerh-. Cognate with Lusetian perri and Laefevian bier (“goat”).
