From Middle Radestrian tvévus, from Old Radestrian tlǫwlro, inherited from Proto-Radic *tlǫwlur (“weapon”), from Proto-Hirdic *tlɤ̄́ḡulus (“sharpened, pointed”), from Proto-Laenkean *tʼlojgolos. Cognate with Riyan țaŗol (“danger”).
