From Middle Radestrian myttars, myttrs, from Old Radestrian myttars, inherited from Proto-Radic *myhtırs, from Proto-Hirdic *mýp̄tərəs, from Proto-Laenkean *myptaras. Cognate with Lusetian mydi, Riyan mufta and Laefevian ampar.
