Etymology
From Middle Radestrian njals, from Old Radestrian njælss, inherited from Proto-Radic *njælhs, from Proto-Hirdic *njǽlḵəs, from Proto-Laenkean *njælkæs. Cognate with Lusetian nill, Riyan njal and Laefevian njalke. The raised stem is actually an innovation via analogy.
