This template renders a link to a word, similarly to {{m}}, but automatically handles adding categories. It is intended to be used in etymology sections for words that are borrowed from another language.

This template is used for semantic loans, which are special types of calque in which the word already existed in a language but a specific sense or meaning was borrowed semantically from the source language.

Usage

{{sl|kil|rad|alșa}}.

Generates:

Semantic loan of Radestrian alșa.
