This template renders a link to a word, similarly to {{m}}, but automatically handles adding categories. It is intended to be used in etymology sections for words that are borrowed from another language.

This should not be used for words that are directly inherited or derived. For those, consider using {{inherited}} ({{inh}}) or {{derived}} ({{der}}).

Usage

From {{borrow|kil|rad|alșa}}.

Generates:

From Radestrian alșa.
