From Old Riyan țūsk (“quick, easy”), from Proto-Riyanic *sc̱ū́sku, from Proto-Hirdic *stjúḡuskus (“quick”), from Proto-Laenkean *stjuguskus (“moving quickly”). Cognate with Radestrian așuorciș (“quick”).
