From Middle Radestrian tvévþs, from Old Radestrian tlǫwþro, inherited from Proto-Radic *tlǫgθur, from Proto-Hirdic *tlɤ̄́ḡthus, from Proto-Laenkean *tʼlojgtʰos. Cognate with Ardian šŷks (“arrow, spearhead”), Lusetian lattu and Laefevian aldeiþ (“claw”).
