Lusetian
Etymology
From Old Lusetian hlosur, from Proto-Radic *hloθur. Cognate with Ardian los and Radestrian hvuþs. The expected reflex is **lozu, so it is thought that the modern language instead inherited the plural lozi (from Old Lusetian hlosir) and backformed the singular.
Pronunciation
Noun
lọ̃s (countable, stress pattern 2a, oblique singular lọ̃za, nominative plural lozị)
Derived terms
- Loslitti (Lusetian capital city)
