Etymology
From Old Riyan paðiș, from Proto-Riyanic *páḏis̱i, from Proto-Hirdic *pɔ́dhic̱jis, from Proto-Laenkean *pʼadʱ- (“long”). From the same root as pardiş (“distant”).
