From Middle Radestrian þérs, from Old Radestrian þǫrs, inherited from Proto-Radic *θǫrs, from Proto-Hirdic *thɤ̄́rḏəs. from Proto-Laenkean *tʰajd-. Cognate with Riyan țaor (“dinner”).
