Riyan

Etymology

From Old Riyan ŗaod, from Proto-Riyanic *ḡɤ́dă, from Proto-Hirdic *ḵɤ̄h- (“to not be”), from Proto-Laenkean *kajʔ- (negative). Cognate with Radestrian hjeat.

Pronunciation

Usage notes

This auxiliary can be used in all the same places as ful (“to be”), resulting in the exact same meaning except that it is negative rather than positive.
