From Middle Radestrian glérms, from Old Radestrian glērmre, inherited from Proto-Radic *glērmir, from Proto-Hirdic *ḡléḡirmis, from Proto-Laenkean *glegermes. Cognate with Laefevian ljeam and Riyan glírma.
