Etymology
From Old Lusetian ğwirtir, inherited from Proto-Radic *ɣwirtir, from Proto-Hirdic *ghwírtis, from Proto-Laenkean *gʱwirtʼis (“smoke”). Cognate with Radestrian røts, Riyan firt, Aegestian pprets (“cloud”) and Laefevian ǧwind.
