Template:cognates/documentation

This template creates cognate lists. Languages are listed in order of relational distance (more closely related languages are listed first) and otherwise in alphabetical order.

Usage

|1= (optional)

native language code

This will add cognate categories.

|code=term

cognate language code and term (inline parameters of {{m+}} apply); <nobold:1> is automatically added

<pre:text>

prefaces the cognate with text

|nocap=1

decapitalises intro text

|nocat=1

suppresses categorisation

|nopre=1

removes intro text
