This template should be used in the etymology section of an entry.
|1=- The language code
|2=- Optionally, the person, institution or group that coined the term
|in=- Optionally, the year in which the term was coined
|nocat=- Whether no category should be added. If this is omitted, the category LANGNAME coinages will be added.
|notext=- Whether the initial text should be omitted or not.
|nocap=- Whether the initial letter of the text should be a lowercase letter or not.
