Laefevian

Etymology

Ultimately probably from Proto-Laenkean *srɯlbʱ- (“hook”), although the zero-grade form of the root is problematic.

Pronunciation

Noun

hruft (nominative dual hruftund, nominative plural hruftir)

  1. key (an object designed to open and close a lock)
Wilwai hruftas ô laj uldahke hrikele.
