This template generates noun and verb forms based on stem input, as you would with {{rad-conj}} and {{rad-decl}}.

Usage

{{rad-stem}} takes the following arguments:

  • |1=noun or |1=verb (required)
  • |2= (required): principle part code
    • Callable stems for nouns: nom, voc, gen, dat, acc, ins, nompl, genpl, genpl_short
    • Callable stems for verbs:
      • Base parts: inf, 2s, pst, prespart, pspart, passinf, passprespart
      • Generated parts: vnoun, 1s, 3s, pl, a, depers, imp, r, apst, epst, rpst

Any following arguments are interpreted as arguments for {{rad-conj}} or {{rad-decl}}.

Example

{{rad-decl|l|ý~ye|G}}

Calling {{rad-stem|noun|dat|l|ý~ye|G}} will yield the dative singular stem: lýa.
